We're looking for a Legal Assistant (Paralegal) to join our established Family Team in our Plymouth office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual looking to develop a career within the legal profession. Working alongside experienced Family Lawyers and Partners, you'll play an important role in supporting the team, delivering excellent client service and helping ensure matters progress efficiently and smoothly.
Whether you're an experienced Legal Assistant or looking to build on existing legal administration experience, you'll benefit from hands-on exposure to a broad range of family law matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You'll support the Family Team by:

Providing quotations and assisting with initial client enquiries.

Opening new files and preparing initial client correspondence.

Carrying out conflict checks and onboarding procedures.

Assisting with client identification and anti-money laundering requirements.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on the firm's case management system.

Preparing routine correspondence and legal documents.

Liaising with clients, courts and third parties.

Assisting fee earners with file management and case progression.

Ensuring files are compliant and ready for closure.

Supporting colleagues across the department as required.

Delivering exceptional standards of client care and professionalism.
