Job Summary

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

Torquay, Devon. Office-based

iMove Estate Agents is looking for an experienced Sales Progressor to join our busy sales team in Torquay. This is a key role in ensuring transactions move smoothly from offer acceptance through to completion, keeping buyers, sellers, solicitors, other agents, mortgage brokers and surveyors informed and on track at every stage.

You'll be the calm, organised point of contact who keeps chains moving, spots potential problems before they become delays, and finds practical solutions to keep everyone on side.

Key Responsibilities

Progress sales from offer through to completion, liaising with all parties involved in the transaction
Maintain regular, proactive communication with buyers, sellers, solicitors, other agents, mortgage brokers and surveyors
Keep clients updated at every stage, managing expectations clearly and honestly
Identify potential issues within a chain or transaction early and work to resolve them
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems throughout the sales process
Support the wider sales team to ensure a smooth, professional experience for all clients

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a sales progression, conveyancing, or similar property role
A solid understanding of the residential property legal process — this is essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage difficult conversations calmly
A proactive, problem-solving mindset — someone who can think on their feet when issues arise
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple transactions at once
A friendly, professional manner and a genuine team player

Pay: £26,500.00 per year

Work Location: In person
