We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and diligent lifeguards to join our team. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all individuals in and around the swimming areas. Your primary duty will be to monitor activities in the water and respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or potential hazards.
Ideally you will have completed the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), but please get in touch to discuss the role if you are aiming to acquire the qualification to pursue a lifeguarding position.
Duties will include:
- Monitoring swimmers and enforcing safety rules and regulations
- Providing surveillance of the swimming area to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies
- Performing water rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed
- Maintaining clean and organized pool areas, including regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment
- Communicating with swimmers, guests, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Conducting regular inspections of the pool area to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs
- Completing incident reports for any accidents or incidents that occur during your shift
As well as lifeguarding our indoor and outdoor pools, you would be responsible for assisting our guests and members with our gym facilities, and ensuring our facilities are always kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.
