Full job description

Assistant Site Manager / Site Manager – Curtain Walling & Glazing

Location: Leeds City Centre, LS1
Contract: 9-month interim contract
Start date: ASAP
Project: Curtain walling and glazing package on a major city centre project

RED Systems is looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager to support our Senior Site Manager on a major curtain walling and glazing project in Leeds city centre.

The project is located just moments from Leeds Train Station and is being delivered for one of the UK’s leading Tier 1 contractors.

This role would suit an experienced Assistant Site Manager with a strong façade background, or a Site Manager looking for their next interim contract.

The role will involve:

Supporting the Senior Site Manager with day-to-day site coordination and delivery of the curtain walling and glazing works
Helping manage site activities, labour, subcontractors and installation progress
Supporting quality, programme, health and safety, and site reporting requirements
Liaising with internal teams, site operatives, subcontractors and the wider project team
Helping ensure works are delivered safely, correctly and in line with project expectations
Supporting site documentation, snagging, inspections and close-out activity

We’re looking for someone with:

Experience working on curtain walling and glazing projects
Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Manager, Façade Site Manager or similar
A good understanding of site coordination, installation sequencing and working in a live construction environment
Confidence working with site teams, subcontractors and main contractor representatives
A practical, organised and hands-on approach
Experience working in a busy city centre environment would be an advantage
