Job Summary

Join our dynamic construction team as a Building Labourer and be a vital part of creating safe, durable, and high-quality structures. In this energetic role, you will assist skilled tradespeople by performing essential manual tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently. Your proactive attitude and willingness to learn will contribute to a positive work environment and successful project completion. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while supporting the development of impressive building projects.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials.
Carry out manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving building materials and tools safely and efficiently.
Support tradespeople with tasks like mixing concrete, installing insulation, or assembling scaffolding.
Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards at all times.
Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete assigned tasks promptly.
Help with loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas.
Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.

Skills

Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding manual labor for extended periods.
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work well within a team.
Good communication skills to understand directions and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Basic knowledge of construction site safety procedures and practices.
Willingness to learn new skills related to construction processes and tools.
Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward completing tasks efficiently.
Prior experience in construction or related manual labor roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
