Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a comprehensive care facility. This vital role involves ensuring the highest standards of patient care, managing staff teams, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in assisted living, senior care, and specialized services such as dementia and Alzheimer's care. As a Registered Manager, you will foster a compassionate environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for all residents and clients. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, team engagement, and exceptional service delivery in a fast-paced, rewarding setting.

Duties

Lead the overall management of the care facility, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational standards
Oversee daily operations including patient care, staff supervision, and administrative functions
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia, hospice, and disability services
Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for multidisciplinary teams including nurses, caregivers, and support staff
Ensure medication administration protocols are strictly followed and maintain accurate medical records
Monitor quality assurance processes through audits and feedback mechanisms to uphold high standards of care
Foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and resident satisfaction
Coordinate with healthcare professionals for specialized services such as laboratory testing, medical imaging, or ICU-related care when necessary
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and procurement to optimize operational efficiency
Promote a culture of safety by implementing risk management strategies and incident reporting procedures

Experience

Proven experience in assisted living or senior care management with a strong understanding of dementia and Alzheimer's care principles
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams in healthcare or residential settings
Background working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
Knowledge of anatomy, patient care procedures, medication administration, and medical terminology is essential
Experience working in nursing homes or hospice environments is preferred
Familiarity with home care services and case management practices will be advantageous
Prior involvement in laboratory procedures or medical imaging processes is a plus
Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communication abilities to motivate staff and engage residents effectively
