The Role
Join our production team and help build clinical seating that makes a meaningful difference to patients and caregivers. This varied role includes chair and component assembly, steel cutting and the opportunity to develop CNC operating skills. You will work with clear standards, modern equipment and a supportive team focused on safety, quality, continuous improvement and delivering excellent products to customers around the world.
Safety is at the heart of everything we do. You will be supported with full training, the right PPE, and a genuinely safety-first culture from day one.
Key Responsibilities
· Training to operate CNC machinery and completing CNC tasks and maintenance when competent and authorised.
· Assembling chairs, and sub-assemblies to defined quality standards.
· Cross-training and supporting other manufacturing areas when required.
· Reading work instructions, drawings and measurements to complete work correctly first time.
· Carrying out in-process quality checks and reporting defects or concerns promptly.
· Using hand tools, power tools and production equipment safely and responsibly.
· Meeting daily production targets and working to takt time.
· Cross-training and supporting other manufacturing areas when required.
· Participating in team meetings and daily production communication.
· Supporting continuous improvement while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Essential Criteria
· Positive attitude & eagerness to learn new production skills
· Ability to work as part of a team & independently
· Basic numeracy and ability to measure accurately
· Ability to meet daily targets and work efficiently under pressure
Desirable Criteria
· Experience in manufacturing environment
· Previous experience using CNC machine and or wood working.
