Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Cook, in our cafe where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals with precision and care, ensuring every dish meets our high standards of taste and presentation. Your enthusiasm for cooking and food safety will help create a welcoming environment for both team members and guests. The menu is simple enough and training will be givenThis paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while contributing to a vibrant dining experience.

Duties

Prepare a variety of menu items with attention to detail, consistency, and quality.
Follow established recipes and food preparation procedures to ensure optimal flavor and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
Adhere strictly to food safety standards and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Assist in meal assembly, plating, and serving to deliver a satisfying guest experience.
Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing.

Experience

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices.
Experience in meal preparation and understanding of food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with serving procedures and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
