About the Role: Liverpool is a city shaped by community, culture and creativity, and at Peruanas Que Inspiran Community and Media Ltd, we bring that same energy to the programmes and campaigns we deliver. We work with public sector organisations, charities, community groups and socially responsible businesses to create initiatives that strengthen communities, amplify underrepresented voices and generate measurable social impact.
We are looking for a Lead Social Impact Consultant who can guide complex social impact projects from strategy through delivery. You will work closely with clients, community partners and internal media teams to identify social challenges, develop practical solutions and communicate the outcomes of programmes designed to improve lives.
You will not simply produce reports and recommendations. You will help organisations understand where they can make the greatest difference, translate evidence into action and use effective communications to increase awareness, participation and long term impact.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment: Our Liverpool team works in a collaborative and purpose driven setting where ideas are welcomed and people are encouraged to challenge traditional approaches. We value thoughtful discussion, practical problem solving and strong relationships with the communities we support.
Meaningful Work: The projects you lead will address important social priorities, including employment, education, community wellbeing, inclusion, representation and access to essential services.
Professional Influence: You will work directly with senior stakeholders and have the opportunity to shape programme strategies, public engagement campaigns and social value commitments from the beginning.
Community and Media Focus: You will collaborate with programme, content and communications specialists to ensure that important community stories and project outcomes reach the right audiences.
Growth: You will receive support for professional development, relevant qualifications, industry events and training in areas such as social value measurement, impact evaluation, stakeholder engagement and programme leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Impact Strategy: Develop evidence based social impact strategies that align organisational objectives with community needs and measurable outcomes.
Programme Design: Lead the development of community programmes, social value initiatives and responsible business projects from initial research through implementation.
Impact Measurement: Create practical frameworks for monitoring outcomes, evaluating performance and demonstrating the social and economic value of programmes.
Client Advisory: Provide clear and credible advice to clients across the public, private and voluntary sectors on social impact, community investment and responsible business practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build productive relationships with local authorities, charities, community organisations, funders, media partners and programme participants.
Campaign Collaboration: Work with communications and media colleagues to develop campaigns that raise awareness, encourage participation and communicate programme results.
Research and Analysis: Review social data, community feedback, policy developments and audience insights to identify priorities, risks and opportunities.
Project Leadership: Manage multiple consulting assignments, ensuring that projects remain on schedule, within budget and focused on agreed outcomes.
Team Development: Support and mentor consultants, coordinators and project staff through regular feedback, coaching and quality reviews.
Reporting and Presentations: Produce high quality reports, proposals, impact stories and presentations that communicate complex findings in a clear and accessible way.
Business Development: Contribute to proposals, client presentations and new service development while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: At least 6 years of experience in social impact, community development, programme consulting, social value, corporate responsibility, public engagement or a related field.
Leadership: Previous experience leading complex projects, advising senior stakeholders and supporting the development of junior and mid level colleagues.
Impact Knowledge: Strong understanding of social impact measurement, programme evaluation, outcomes frameworks and community engagement.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to lead workshops, present recommendations and manage sensitive stakeholder discussions.
Media Awareness: An understanding of how communications, digital content and public campaigns can support community engagement and social impact objectives.
Analytical Ability: The ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative information and turn findings into clear, practical recommendations.
Project Management: Strong organisational skills with experience managing deadlines, budgets, risks and multiple workstreams.
Sector Awareness: Knowledge of the public sector, charitable organisations, community programmes, media initiatives or responsible business activities within the United Kingdom.
Education: A degree in social sciences, public policy, community development, communications, business or a related discipline is desirable. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Mindset: You are practical, thoughtful and outcome focused. You understand that meaningful social impact requires ambitious ideas, responsible communication and realistic delivery.
