About Us Soup Creative is a fast-paced content marketing agency based at Soup Studios in Chester. We cook up high-performing digital content, brand campaigns, and social media assets for a diverse roster of clients.
We’re looking for a talented, ambitious Video Editor to join our team in the studio. In an ideal world, you will help us scale and develop our video editing function across all channels from TVCs and brand films to high-energy social assets.
The Role This is a highly varied role that bridges the gap between technical editing and creative direction. While you’ll be a wizard in the edit suite, you won't just be pushing buttons; you will be the creative lead for our fun, short, social-first content. We need someone who can take a brief, concept the execution, and deliver content that stops the scroll.

What You’ll Do:
- Edit & Deliver: Own the post-production process for a massive range of content, from cinematic brand films and TVCs to rapid-fire social clips.
- Concept & Direct: Act as the creative lead for social-first content, brainstorming fresh concepts, writing hooks, and figuring out how to bring ideas to life.
- Format Flexibility: Masterfully assemble raw footage, integrate audio, design motion graphics, and optimize content for every platform (TikTok, Reels, YouTube, Web).
- Collaborate: Work closely with directors, producers, and account managers right here in our Chester studio to keep projects moving and client work sharp.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 3–5 years of professional video editing experience (agency or creative team environment preferred).
- Tech Stack: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Creative Instincts: A deep understanding of internet culture, social media trends, and what makes video content perform online.
- Versatility: You are as comfortable pacing out a 30-second commercial as you are cutting a 7-second TikTok trend.
- Location: Ability to work full-time out of our Chester studio.
- Portfolio: A strong showreel or portfolio that demonstrates both clean storytelling and sharp, engaging social media edits.
