Full-Time Sales Assistant

Company: Beccles Home & Flooring
Location: Beccles, Suffolk
Hours: Full-time (5 days per week, including weekends)
Contract: Permanent

Job Overview

We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Full-Time Sales Assistant for our showroom. This role centers on providing excellent service and maintaining a beautiful shopping environment. If you are confident, proactive, and team-oriented, join us!

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and advise on flooring, furniture, and fashion.
Process sales transactions using our bespoke POS system.
Oversee warehouse control, ensuring stock is safely stored and organised.
Monitor showroom stock levels and assist with inventory control.
Move furniture and lift stock safely to refresh store displays.
Handle customer product enquiries in person, on the telephone, social media and via email.
Maintain high cleanliness standards across the showroom floor.

Requirements

Full availability to work a 5-day rota, including weekends.
Welcoming personality with excellent communication skills.
Confident computer skills (Windows, Google Drive, email).
Strong team player with a positive, punctual work ethic.
Physically fit and capable of lifting furniture and showroom stock safely.
Retail, showroom, or customer service experience is preferred.
