About the role

We are looking for a reliable and practical Casual Estates Worker to support our Estates team with the care and maintenance of Louma’s beautiful grounds. This hands-on outdoor role will help maintain lawns, hedges, woodland areas, fences, ponds and wider estate spaces to a high standard.

The role would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, takes pride in their work and can work well both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

Supporting the maintenance of lawns, hedges, woodland areas, fences, ponds and general estate spaces
Carrying out basic groundskeeping and green maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
Using estate equipment in line with training, risk assessments and standard operating procedures
Helping to keep outdoor areas presentable, safe and welcoming for guests
Working both independently and collaboratively with the wider Estates team
Interacting positively and professionally with guests when required

About you

A Lantra Awards Level 2 Award in Brushcutters and Strimmers, or equivalent strimmer qualification, is desirable but not essential
ATV certification is desirable but not essential
Basic knowledge of groundskeeping and general green maintenance
A good level of physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all seasons
Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to interact positively with guests
A practical, safety-conscious approach to work

Hours and salary

This is a casual role, working approximately 16–24 hours per week. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
