Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bathroom Tiler to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality tiling in bathrooms, ensuring precision and durability. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary primers to ensure optimal adhesion of tiles
- Measure and plan tile layouts according to schematics, ensuring accurate placement and pattern consistency
- Cut tiles precisely using hand tools and power tools to fit corners, edges, and around fixtures
- Install tiles securely using appropriate adhesives, grout, and sealants while maintaining clean lines and finishes
- Follow technical schematics and construction plans to execute tile layouts accurately
- Conduct quality checks throughout the tiling process to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications
- Assist with related tasks such as minor carpentry or painting as needed to support overall bathroom renovations
Skills
- Proven construction experience with a focus on tiling or related trades
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes
- Experience with power tools including saws, drills, and grinders for cutting and shaping tiles
- Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings for precise installation planning
- Ability to perform basic carpentry tasks relevant to bathroom installations
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques for finishing touches after tiling is complete
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to safety standards
