Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a professional environment committed to exceptional service standards.

days working- Monday, Tuesday Thursday Friday Sunday 10-3pm more hours are available from 7am

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces according to company standards
Change bed linen, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to protect yourself and guests
Assist with laundry duties when necessary
Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and colleagues

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills in English
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if required
A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service

This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and thrive in a hospitality environment.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
