Full job description

About us

Ready Steady Store is a growing UK self-storage business with sites nationwide and a team of around 70 people. We're looking for a proactive, highly organised Executive Assistant to join our Central Operations function and support our Senior Management Team.

The role

This isn't a traditional diary-and-inbox EA role. You'll split your time between classic PA support for our Senior Management Team and hands-on coordination of store projects from arranging site visits with agents and landlords, to chasing contractor quotes and paperwork, to tracking invoices and certifications as new stores come online. It's varied, fast-paced, and genuinely useful work if you like ticking things off a list and chasing people until they respond, you'll enjoy this.

What you'll be doing

Providing administrative and PA support to the Senior Management Team - diary management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and following up on meeting actions
Acting as a central point of contact for internal and external queries, and supporting new starter onboarding
Coordinating contractor and supplier activity: scheduling surveys and works, tracking quotes and deliveries, and keeping supplier records up to date
Arranging store viewings and site visits with agents and landlords, including sorting access and codes ahead of time
Compiling quotation sheets and chasing site paperwork (RAMS, liability insurance, certifications) so projects stay on track
Tracking invoices and maintaining accurate logs and shared records across the business

What we're looking for

Essential

2+ years' experience in a PA, EA, or administration role
Strong organisational skills and real attention to detail
Confident written and verbal communicator
Comfortable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Able to juggle competing priorities and stay calm under pressure

Nice to have

A Health & Safety or facilities background
Experience supporting projects or operational teams
Familiarity with multi-site or operational businesses

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
