HGV Driver / Service Attendant | Full-Time | Ashton-under-Lyne | No Weekends | Stable Hours

Looking for a driving role that gives you consistent hours, no weekend work, and a proper work/life balance?

Challenger Site Services is a growing, family-run business based in Ashton-under-Lyne, providing site sanitation services across the North West. We are now looking for an experienced HGV Driver to join our team.

What You’ll Get

Monday to Friday working pattern
Typical hours: 6:30am – 3:30pm
No weekends
No changing shift patterns
Local depot-based role - start and finish each day in Ashton-under-Lyne
Stable, long-term employment with a growing business

Pay

£16.00 per hour
£660.00 per week
£34,320.00 per year (full-time equivalent)

The Role

You’ll be responsible for servicing construction sites across the North West, carrying out:

Effluent tank empties
Water deliveries
Daily vehicle checks
Customer-facing site visits

You’ll work from a pre-planned daily route using a specialist 18-tonne tanker vehicle, spending most of your day out on the road.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Category C (Class 2) UK driving licence
CPC qualification
Good driving experience with HGV vehicles
Professional and reliable attitude

Desirable:

Experience driving tanker vehicles
Strong customer service skills
