Locum Dental Nurse

Hill House Dental Surgery – Langport, Somerset

Hill House Dental Surgery is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated GDC-registered Locum Dental Nurse to join our supportive team. This role is to provide cover for a member of staff on sick leave, with regular working days available over the next two months.

As an independent, family-run practice, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. Our modern, fully digital practice is supported by an experienced, long-standing team who are committed to working together and providing the highest standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding patient care throughout each visit.
Assist the dentist chairside during a wide range of dental procedures.
Support the reception team when required.
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant clinical environment.
Accurately update patient records using our digital practice management system.
Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and colleagues.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Be GDC registered
Be self-employed
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service
Be friendly, reliable, and well organised
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Be passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
Be flexible and willing to support different areas of the practice when required
