The role

To prepare and decorate interior and exterior surfaces of commercial, or industrial buildings, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets the business specifications, safety standards, and project deadlines.

Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming as required
Apply paint, varnish, stains, wallpaper, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spraying equipment
Mix and match paints to required colours and textures
Repair damaged walls, ceilings, and surfaces prior to decoration
Hang wallpaper and decorative finishes accurately and neatly
Protect furniture, floors, and fixtures with dust sheets and coverings
Ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard
Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including safe use of ladders and equipment
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Liaise with clients, supervisors, and other trades on-site as required
Complete work within agreed timescales and budgets
Must be confident at working from heights and using height equipment

About you

You will need:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent
CSCS card (for construction/site roles)
Full UK driving licence

Location

Based at Marsh Mills but will require travel to all Vospers sites. A driving licence is essential for this position

Salary

Dependent on experience and qualifications to be discussed at interview

Hours

Monday to Friday
