About Us

Annie's is a busy, family-run café in the heart of Ellon, known for its homemade food, friendly atmosphere and strong community spirit. We pride ourselves on making our customers feel welcome and creating an environment where people enjoy spending time with friends, family and neighbours.

About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, reliable and hard-working Part-Time Front of House & Café Assistant to join our team.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One minute you could be serving customers and making coffees, the next helping prepare food, putting away a delivery or keeping the café running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work and isn't afraid to get stuck in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming customers and helping them feel part of the Annie's community
Taking customer orders and providing excellent customer service
Making teas, coffees and other hot drinks
Serving ice cream
Handling cash and card payments
Assisting with food preparation and plating
Receiving and putting away deliveries
Keeping front of house clean, organised and well-stocked
Washing dishes and helping maintain a clean kitchen
Supporting colleagues with day-to-day café duties

What We're Looking For

A positive and friendly attitude
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working in a busy environment
Willingness to turn your hand to a bit of everything
Hospitality, retail or customer service experience would be an advantage, but not essential

Hours

Wednesday: 12:30pm – 4:30pm
Thursday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
Friday: 8:30am – 12:30pm

Additional hours may be available to cover holidays, sickness and busy periods.
