Location The Meadows, NG2 2JD

This is a temporary, full time vacancy that will close in 11 days at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

Job Title: Pharmacy Apprentice

Location: This role will be based at our Nottingham branch and will require you to travel to branches across to other local branches within a commutable distance

Salary: This role is in line with National Minimum Wage

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 9-6, including some Saturdays on rotation where required.

Hours: 40 with 20% off the job training

Type of Role: Temporary - This is an 18 months contract, with the opportunity to go permanent

About the Role:

As a Pharmacy Apprentice, you will gain the skills and knowledge needed to work in a community pharmacy while completing the Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship.

You will work across a variety of Peak Pharmacy branches, gaining valuable experience in different pharmacy environments while being supported by experienced colleagues and a dedicated mentor.

Your duties will include:

Providing excellent customer service to patients and customers.
Supporting the dispensing process under supervision.
Operating the till and processing sales accurately.
Assisting with prescription collection and handout procedures.
Supporting stock management including deliveries, ordering and stock rotation.
Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
Maintaining patient confidentiality and data protection standards.
Supporting the pharmacy team with day-to-day operational tasks.
Completing apprenticeship training, coursework and off-the-job learning requirements.
Participating in branch rotations across your allocated area.
