Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a SIA Door Supervisor and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee access control, monitor premises, and ensure the safety of staff and visitors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your surveillance skills, contribute to loss prevention efforts, and uphold high standards of security professionalism. Responsibilities

Manage entry and exit points by verifying identification and authorizations for all visitors, staff, and contractors.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises, ensuring safety and security at all times.
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary to prevent theft or damage.
Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services as required and completing detailed incident reports.
Maintain vigilant surveillance of the environment, including conducting patrols and visual inspections to identify potential security risks.
Enforce site policies and procedures consistently while providing excellent customer service to visitors and staff.
Support first aid procedures when needed, assisting injured individuals until professional help arrives.

Experience

Previous experience in security or a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of CCTV operation, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention methods is highly desirable.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while handling challenging situations effectively.
Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor license is required for employment.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring environments and identifying potential issues.
Basic understanding of first aid procedures is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary.
