Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Barrista / Chocolate Cafe Assistant and become the heart of an exciting, sweet-focused environment! Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees, hot chocolates, and chocolate-based beverages with precision and flair
Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing exceptional service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food prep stations and seating zones
Handle food safety practices diligently to ensure all products meet hygiene standards
Upsell menu items such as premium chocolates or seasonal specials to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Manage cash register operations accurately while balancing transactions at the end of each shift
Support in food preparation tasks like assembling desserts or packaging chocolates for takeout orders

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is essential for maintaining hygiene excellence
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
Experience with kitchen tasks or culinary activities is a plus, demonstrating comfort with food prep routines
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining positive energy and professionalism
