We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to two years' marketing experience looking to develop their career in a fast paced business environment.
Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, you will support the planning, execution and analysis of digital marketing activities across multiple channels, helping to increase brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.
This role would suit a creative and organised individual with a relevant marketing degree who is eager to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of marketing disciplines.
The Role & Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of digital marketing campaigns across email, website, social media and paid advertising channels.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X.
- Assist with maintaining and updating company websites, ensuring content remains accurate and up to date.
- Assist with creating and updating product pages (PIM).
- Maintain and update the dedicated service platform website.
- Assist with creating logic for ecommerce offers
- Support the creation of marketing materials including brochures, presentations, email campaigns and promotional content.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Assist with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) activities to improve website visibility.
- Support the planning and coordination of events, exhibitions and product launches.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather content and promote company news, achievements and initiatives.
- Help maintain the marketing content calendar and ensure projects are completed on time.
- Create/edit video and image content for social media platforms, in line with brand guidelines.
- Assist with filming real-life content, either in the office or at an off-site location.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing function as required.
Essential Skills & Qualities:
- Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject.
- Graduate or up to two years' experience in a marketing role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Creative, proactive and willing to learn.
Desirable:
- Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads or SEO principles.
- Experience using website content management systems (CMS).
- Understanding of email marketing platforms.
- Previous internship, placement year or marketing work experience.
