Female Outreach Support Worker – Full time, permanent

Immediate Start | Inverness Area | £13.45 - £14.00 per hour

Are you a caring, compassionate individual with experience supporting people with mental health needs? Do you enjoy helping others live independently and achieve their goals? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Gateway is looking for a dedicated Female Outreach Support Worker to join our friendly and supportive team on a full time, permanent basis.

About the Role

As an Outreach Support Worker, you'll make a real difference in people's lives by providing practical and emotional support within the community. No two days are the same, and your role may include:

Supporting individuals with shopping and daily living tasks
Accompanying clients to appointments
Encouraging participation in social and leisure activities
Promoting independence, wellbeing, and confidence
Building positive, trusting relationships with service users

This role supports individuals experiencing mental health challenges, so previous experience working within a mental health setting is essential.

What We're Looking For

At least 1 years’ experience supporting people with mental health needs
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Fluent English skills
SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it (fully funded by Gateway)A compassionate, reliable, and person-centred approach
