SEASONAL AREA SUPERVISOR & SENIOR CLEANING OPERATIVE

About the Role
The Cleaning Fairy & Co is looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Seasonal Area Supervisor & Senior Cleaning Operative to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 summer season.
This is a hands-on role, combining supervisory responsibilities with cleaning operations, helping us maintain our high standards across our Ilfracombe area.
This role is predominantly weekend-based, and availability to work Monday, Friday, Saturday AND Sunday is essential.
Key Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous cleaning experience, ideally within holiday lets, residential cleaning or hospitality
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work
- Is confident working independently and supervising cleaning standards
- Is reliable, organised and able to manage time effectively
- Has good communication skills and can liaise confidently with the office and cleaning team
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- Has their own reliable vehicle
- Is available to work Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced seasonal environment
Area Supervisor Responsibilities
As well as carrying out cleaning duties, you will help to ensure our properties are completed to the expected Cleaning Fairy standard.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supervising and supporting cleaning team members
- Checking completed cleans and identifying any finishing touches required
- Supporting holiday-let changeovers
- Communicating with the office regarding property standards and any issues
- Helping manage priorities and time across busy changeover days
- Taking photographs and reporting any maintenance or cleaning concerns
- Ensuring properties are guest-ready and presented to a high standard
Opportunity Beyond the Season
There may be potential for employment to continue after the seasonal contract, depending on business requirements and your availability and ability to travel to our other working areas across North Devon.
