Full job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Transport & Service Co -Ordinator to oversee our transport operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day transportation activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent customer service & Driver Communication.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate transportation operations to meet customer demand
- Manage a team of drivers , ensuring they adhere to schedules and routes.
- Monitor vehicle schedules and ensure work loads completed on time.
- Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional service
- Implement strategies to increase revenue through upselling services
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and expenses
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure clear and prompt communication with team and customers at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience in transport or hire industry management or a similar role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for customer service
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions

- Ability to manage staff efficiently and address challenges professionally
- A valid driving licence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,500.00-£33,000.00 per year
