Full job description

HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) – ADR / CNG & Tanker

£41,600 per annum + £26.75 Night Out Allowance
4 On / 4 Off
Bridgnorth, Shropshire

Clive Cowern Transport is a family-run haulage business based in Bridgnorth. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our specialist gas and tanker operation.

This is a responsible and safety-critical role involving the transportation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) using MEGC trailers, alongside non-ADR tanker work delivering digestate to farms.

The Role

CNG deliveries using specialist MEGC trailers.
Non-ADR tanker work delivering digestate to agricultural sites.
Carrying out vehicle, trailer and safety checks.
Operating specialist equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
Completing delivery paperwork
Working closely with the transport office and customers.
Maintaining high standards of safety, vehicle presentation and customer service.

What We're Looking For

Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
ADR qualifications covering the required gas and tank/MEGC categories.
Previous CNG, MEGC or tanker experience is highly desirable.
Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Working Time and transport compliance.
Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach.
Good UK geographical knowledge.

This is a specialist role and the correct ADR qualifications for gas and tank/MEGC operations are essential.
