Full job description

Injection Moulding Setter/Technician

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Injection Moulding Technician to join our manufacturing team, producing high-quality medical components in a clean, regulated production environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced injection moulding technology while contributing to products that support healthcare worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, start up, and optimize injection moulding machines to meet production schedules.
Perform mould changes and process start-ups.
Monitor production to ensure consistent product quality and process stability.
Troubleshoot moulding, tooling, and processing issues to minimize downtime.
Carry out first-off inspections and support quality activities.
Maintain process documentation and ensure all production records are completed accurately.
Work in accordance with GMP, ISO 13485, and company quality procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and scrap reduction.
Perform routine machine maintenance and liaise with the maintenance team on equipment issues.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping within production and cleanroom areas.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Technician or Process Technician.
Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes, machine setup, and process optimization.
Experience with mould changes, process troubleshooting, and process improvements.
Understanding of scientific moulding principles is desirable.
Experience working in a medical device or other highly regulated manufacturing environment is advantageous.
Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485, or similar quality standards is preferred.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and quality specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
