Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Bar Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of our bar. This role is ideal for someone with previous supervisory experience in hospitality who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operation of the bar, ensuring efficient service and high standards of customer care.
Supervise and support bar staff, providing training, guidance and carrying out staff appraisals.
Prepare, check and submit staff rotas to payroll.
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout the bar.
Process memberships and assist with the planning and management of club events as well as trying new ideas.
Manage stock levels, including stock taking and ordering.
Produce engaging social media content to promote the club and its events.
Prepare and submit an accurate monthly bar performance report.

Essential Requirements

1–2 years' hospitality experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
Excellent communication, customer service and conflict resolution skills.
Cellar management required, including line cleaning would be an advantage but not essential.
A good understanding of health and safety, licensing legislation and first aid requirements.
Hold a Personal Licence or be willing to work towards one, funded by us.
Basic IT and numeracy skills, including experience with stock control and ordering.
Ability to undertake manual handling duties, including moving heavy stock.

Working Hours

This role primarily involves evening and weekend shifts, with the occasional early morning start to receive deliveries.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
