Location: York (Inside Waitrose)

About Us

Sushi Daily is a fresh sushi takeaway kiosk located inside Waitrose in York. We are passionate about preparing high-quality, freshly made sushi every day while providing excellent customer service. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Sushi Team Member to join our friendly team.

Responsibilities

Prepare fresh sushi, including maki, nigiri, sashimi, and other Japanese food items.
Ensure all food is prepared to Sushi Daily's quality standards.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
Prepare ingredients and restock the kiosk throughout the day.
Provide excellent customer service.
Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines.

Requirements

Previous sushi-making experience is essential.
Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Friendly with good communication skills.
Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
Must have the right to work in the UK.

What We Offer

£12.71 per hour.
Part-time contract of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours.
