Full job description

Are you a friendly, professional and highly organised individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to join our welcoming team within our modern, four-surgery private dental practice.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in ensuring every patient receives a warm welcome and an exceptional experience from the moment they contact the practice.

This is a varied and busy role requiring excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills. You will work closely with our clinicians, nursing team and management to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming patients and providing a friendly, professional reception service
Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and patient enquiries
Booking, amending and coordinating appointments
Effectively managing clinicians' diaries to maximise efficiency
Taking payments and discussing treatment costs and payment options with patients
Supporting patients with membership and dental plan enquiries
Following up treatment plans and outstanding appointments
Managing recalls and maintaining accurate patient information
Liaising with clinicians and the wider dental team
Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
Supporting general administrative duties within the practice

Committed to providing an excellent standard of patient care and customer service

Previous dental reception experience would be advantageous, particularly within a private dental setting; however, candidates with strong reception, administrative or customer service experience will also be considered.
