Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating students and fostering a supportive learning environment. This role involves working closely with children, including those with special educational needs, to enhance their understanding of various subjects and improve their academic performance.

Responsibilities

Teach small group sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
Implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and learning objectives (lesson plans provided).
Communicate effectively with students to explain concepts clearly and encourage their participation in the learning process.
Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure comprehension and retention of material.
Collaborate with parents through termly reports to support student development.
Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence and motivation in students.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students.
Experience working with children is highly desirable.
A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
Ability to use lesson plans to cater to diverse learning styles.
