Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients. Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems with precision and attention to detail
Maintain and troubleshoot heating systems such as boilers, radiators, thermostats, and related controls to ensure optimal performance
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble and modify plumbing and heating components as needed
Conduct routine inspections to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs promptly to prevent system failures
Lift heavy equipment safely during installation or maintenance tasks while adhering to health and safety standards
Read technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical plans to accurately execute installations or repairs
Assist with the assembly of new systems or components on-site or in workshops as required
Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or equipment between sites when necessary

Experience

Proven experience working as a plumbing or heating engineer in commercial or residential settings
Skilled in welding techniques relevant to plumbing or heating system fabrication or repair
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting tasks essential for installation work
Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing fixtures, heating systems, and related components
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical diagrams
Experience with carpentry tasks related to system installation or modification is advantageous
Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation duties
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
