Full job description

**WEEKEND WORK**

**EVERY SATURDAY - SUNDAY**

Key Responsibilities:

1.Warm Welcome; Greet and welcome all visitors, clients, and employees with a cheerful and professional demeanour.

2.Customer Service; Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors with their enquiries, directing them as appropriate and ensuring all their needs are met promptly. You will also be responsible for helping customers to choose the correct size storage for their needs and answering any queries they have. Getting them booked onto the system, taking online payments and ensuring they are issued all the correct paperwork. You will also deal with move outs and assist with any queries that our onsite business customers may have, in person, by phone or email.

3.Telephone Handling; Answer incoming calls and provide accurate information and solve any queries/complaints.

4.Package and mail handling; Sign for and receive all deliveries, this can include mail, packages and pallet deliveries. Notify recipients promptly and ensure safe storage of items. this can involve taking the pallets round to customer units.

5.Maintain Cleanliness; Keep the reception area, lobby, and adjacent spaces clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Clean and maintain cleanliness of the storage rooms, business rooms and containers to ensure they are ready for any new customers. 6.Weekend Shifts/Lone working; Be available to work every weekend as per the assigned schedule including providing mobile cover. Shifts will require lone working.

Qualifications: A warm and welcoming personality with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail with the ability to work alone as well as be part of a team. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills including familiarity with office software (e.g Microsoft office suite).

Previous experience in a customer service/receptionist role along with experience of in-house computer systems including UK driving licence is preferred but not compulsory

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
