Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Locum Dentist to provide high-quality dental care on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will work within a professional dental team, ensuring patient comfort and delivering exceptional treatment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced dentists to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment, maintaining high standards of oral health care.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients’ oral health.
Perform a wide range of dental treatments, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures.
Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays to diagnose and plan treatments effectively.
Apply anatomical knowledge to ensure precise and safe procedures tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and health and safety regulations throughout all procedures.

Requirements

Fully qualified Dentist with registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
Proven experience in general dentistry, with a strong understanding of anatomy and medical imaging techniques.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Strong communication skills, capable of explaining treatment options clearly to patients.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
