Full job description

Company Overview

We are looking for someone to do pot washing shifts & kitchen porter duties (cleaning & fetching items or assisting the chefs). At the weekends this is a busy commercial kitchen with hot pans & sharp knives so experience is important. Example of shift pattern: Saturday 5pm till close, Sunday 11am till 5pm. Shifts may vary week to week or you could be offered all day shifts but you must be reliable on a weekly basis.

Position can be offered long term or just for the summer (until early September)

Clean and sanitize pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area in accordance with health and safety standards.
Support the kitchen staff during busy periods.
Ensure all cleaning duties are completed promptly to keep the kitchen operational.
Follow all hygiene regulations and safety procedures.
Help with general kitchen duties as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Good communication skills and team spirit.
Having a positive, happy go lucky attitude is important
Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness is essential.
Flexibility to support various tasks within the kitchen.
Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus.
