Specsavers Home Visits Stoke are seeking a highly motivated, friendly and reliable Optical/ Retail Assistant to join our growing domiciliary team.

As a Domiciliary Optical Assistant, You’ll be visiting patients in their own homes, supporting the delivery of a high-quality, professional optical service to those who are unable to visit stores. This is a rewarding and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and delivering outstanding customer service. We are a small team, who support and encourage each other every day.

What you’ll be doing

Supporting patients through their eye care journey in their own homes
Delivering excellent customer service and compassionate care
Assisting with frame selection and dispensing (full training provided if needed)
Working closely with a small, supportive team
Travelling across Stoke, Crewe, Stafford and surrounding areas

What we’re looking for

We welcome applicants from both optical and retail backgrounds.

You’ll ideally have:

Experience in optics OR a strong retail/customer service background
A passion for helping people and delivering exceptional service
Great communication and relationship-building skills
A positive, team-focused attitude
A full UK driving licence

What is in it for you?

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - no weekends 8.30 to 5.30pm - 40 hours per week

No Bank Holidays

Salary: Starting salary is £26,853
