About This Role

We’re recruiting Bank Nurses to provide high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people with complex care needs in their own homes across Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Using your clinical expertise, you’ll support children and young people with complex, long-term and life-limiting conditions, promoting their comfort, dignity, independence and quality of life.

Our bank roles offer flexible shifts to fit around your lifestyle, family commitments and existing work, while providing valuable community-based experience.

You’ll join a supportive team, build meaningful relationships with the families you support, and make a genuine difference every day.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children within the last 12 months with complex clinical healthcare needs is essential.

The following clinical competencies are also essential:

Tracheostomy care
Ventilation management
PEG/JEJ care

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

Hold a valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
Have a minimum of 12 months' post-registration clinical experience.
Have the right to work in the UK.*
Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
Be willing to complete client-specific clinical training where required.
Hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
