Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Learner Engagement Officer to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll take the lead on driving growth by building strong relationships with candidates across the region who are looking to embark on a career in the Fitness sector.

This role requires you to be a motivated, self-driven person and to recruit learners (16+) onto hair and beauty based qualifications that will enable effective and timely transition towards chosen employment. You will actively engage with a wide range of referral agents, such as: employers, colleges, DWP, employment and housing agencies to identify development opportunities.

The role also requires you to develop progression opportunities and to support learners’ transition into work
This role is pivotal in enhancing the learning experience for our beauty students, ensuring they are engaged, motivated, and equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in their careers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in beauty education and demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

Meet and exceed such targets, Key Performance Indicators and success indicators that are set and agreed.
Recruitment of learners onto various courses
Engage with key stakeholders, as directed and agreed with the management team, to maximise the benefits for employers and customers.
Promote services to employers via meetings, phone calls, emails, face to face visits, direct marketing activity, presentations and networking.
Interviewing potential learners and providing Initial advice and guidance
Complying with safeguarding, prevent and health and safety policies

Skills and Experience

Strong Business Development Skills.
Must have worked in business development within the training or recruitment industry
Previous experience in working in a target driven environment
The ability to work across multiple targets, and manage priorities effectively.
Ability to network effectively and maximise business development opportunities.
Strong relationship building skills (internal & external) - via phone and in person.
Good presentation and networking skills ( internal and external stakeholders)
Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
Strong telephone communication skills
Outward looking and aware of wider local area policies and initiatives.
Excellent all round IT skills (Internet, Intranet, databases, MS Office)
Portray excellent self motivation and initiative

OTE £45k+
