Job Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on laboratory experience in a fast-paced environment that values quality, innovation, and professional development.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting laboratory operations, ensuring accurate testing, maintaining data integrity, and upholding quality standards in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. You will work alongside experienced professionals and gain valuable exposure to analytical testing, laboratory systems, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing and analyses in accordance with established methods, procedures, and quality standards.
Prepare samples for analysis, record observations, and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
Enter, manage, and verify testing data using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Review and analyse test results and upload data for report generation.
Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and performance checks of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Ensure the integrity and traceability of samples throughout the testing process.
Support quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain laboratory compliance.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised laboratory environment in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory practices.

Requirements

Experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in analytical testing or chemistry-related fields.
Experience in Marine Fuel Oil Testing will be a distinct advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Good understanding of laboratory safety practices and quality systems.
Experience using LIMS or other laboratory databases is advantageous.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Relevant qualifications in science or related fields are preferred but not essential; relevant laboratory experience is highly valued.
