About Me

Hello! I am a 96-year-old lady living in Kirkcudbright. I used to be a librarian at Stirling University I enjoyed reading books, but my eyesight has declined unfortunately. I enjoy listening to music and watching television, and I like having friendly company. I am looking for a kind and dependable Personal Assistant to support me to remain living independently in my own home.

Job Role

Personal care, including assistance with showers
Preparing meals
Supporting my wellbeing and helping me feel safe and comfortable at home
Prompting and administering medication
Light household tasks
I am looking for someone who can become a trusted and reliable part of my support team.

About You

Caring, compassionate and respectful
Friendly, patient and easy to talk to
Reliable and trustworthy
Experienced in care is desirable, although life experience and the right values are just as important

Hours and Pay

£20.00 per hour (Self-Employed)
5 hours per month
Holiday cover
There may be opportunities for additional hours as my support needs change
Mainly weekends to start

Shifts are:

8:00am – 9:30am
12:00pm – 1:00pm
4:00pm – 5:00pm
8:00pm – 9:00pm
