Full job description

Quality Lab Technician

Location: Elsham Wold Industrial Estate, Brigg, DN20 0SP
Pay: £13.95 per hour, progressing to £14.50 following completion of successful training period (averaged pay of 42 hours per week) + overtime (time and a half, double time Sundays/bank holidays)
Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (12-hour shifts, 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am)

The Role

As a Quality Lab Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all film produced on site meets required customer specifications and quality standards.

Working as part of a busy manufacturing team, you’ll be responsible for testing materials, recording results, and supporting production to maintain consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out quality testing of film to ensure it meets customer specifications
Ensure all products meet required quality standards across production
Maintain full traceability in line with company standards
Accurately complete all laboratory documentation and test records
Perform thorough testing of lab samples and report any issues
Support production operatives with material testing when required
Follow all company Health & Safety rules and procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

Reliable and punctual, with a positive work attitude
Own transport (due to rural location)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to accurately record and document information
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
Previous experience in a manufacturing or lab-based role desirable
Willingness to work a 12-hour shift pattern
Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious approach to work
