Full job description

Purpose of Job:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior ERP Software Developer to join our in-house IT team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for software development and a strong interest in ERP systems, particularly Epicor. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom solutions that support our manufacturing operations, including front-end applications, API integrations, and ERP customisations.

Duties:

Develop and maintain custom applications using C#, and front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Design and implement API integrations between Epicor and third-party systems.
Create and maintain SSRS reports to support business reporting requirements.
Customise Epicor ERP using tools such as: BAQs (Business Activity Queries)
BPMs (Business Process Management workflows)
User Interface customisations
Bartender label templates
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Assist with testing, documentation, and deployment of new features and enhancements.
Provide functional support for Epicor users, helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in object-oriented programming language and familiarity with the .NET Framework.
Experience with SQL Server and writing SSRS reports.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Desirable Skills:

Exposure to Epicor ERP or similar ERP systems.
Experience with Epicor customisation tools (BAQ, BPM, etc.).
Familiarity with Bartender label design software.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and workflows.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
