We’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Norwich. The store has a rich history of catering to motorcyclists' clothing needs, dating back over 15 years, and features a spacious two-level store that allows us to offer an extensive selection of motorcycle clothing and gear tailored to motorcyclists' specific needs.

As one of the UK's leading retailers of motorcycle helmets, clothing, and accessories, we've proudly served motorcycle riders for 25 years. With 17 stores across the UK and a comprehensive online retail website, we have a team of over 150 people dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

What you’ll be doing:

In this dynamic sales role, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, specialist retail environment. We’re looking for someone confident, proactive, and possesses excellent selling skills. You’ll need to build strong relationships with our customers, helping them find the perfect products while meeting individual and team sales targets.

Your key responsibilities include:

Delivering exceptional face-to-face customer service to ensure every rider leaves the store with exactly what they need.
Understanding customer needs and recommending the perfect products from our extensive range of motorcycle clothing and gear.
Hitting individual and team sales targets while motivating the wider team to achieve their goals.
Keeping the store looking great and stock well presented, maintaining high visual merchandising standards across our two-level store.
Learning about leading brands and sharing that knowledge confidently with both customers and team members.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead and inspire a team of sales staff. Your focus will be on ensuring that customers remain at the heart of everything we do. Previous experience in a customer service or similar role is essential for this position.

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for an experienced retail professional who has already proven themselves in a senior sales or supervisory role and is now ready to take on greater responsibility within a specialist environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a senior sales, supervisory, or assistant management role
Proven ability to support store leadership and step up when needed
Strong people management and mentoring skills
Organised, proactive, and confident in making decisions
A bike licence or motorcycle retail experience is a plus, but not essential
Full product training provided – a willingness to learn is key
Strong command of the English language required

Full-Time - 37.5 hours per week, Permanent
