Full job description

Location: Office based – Worsley, Manchester (M28 2QB)

Hours: 40 hours/week, 5 days over a rolling 7-day rota (including some weekends) Contract: Permanent

Reporting to: Head of Sales & Customer Service

Pay: Basic salary £27,563 per year, realistic first-year OTE up to £40,000 (uncapped commission)

The role

You'll be the first point of contact for customers who've already shown interest in storage with us — turning warm enquiries into confirmed bookings. This is a target-driven sales role at heart, built around a high volume of warm leads rather than cold calling.

You will:

Make outbound follow-up calls to customers who've requested a quote through our website (all warm leads — no cold calling)
Handle inbound calls from customers seeking quotes or advice
Build rapport quickly, identify customer needs, and recommend the right storage solution
Manage the full sales process from enquiry to close, aiming to secure business on the first call
Achieve and exceed sales targets, with uncapped commission on top of basic salary
Work 5 days a week on a rolling 7-day rota, including some weekend shifts

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a target-driven sales or high-volume call centre role (self-storage, travel, hospitality reservations, insurance, or similar telesales backgrounds all welcome)
Confidence managing a full sales cycle — from first contact to closing
A strong communicator who builds rapport fast and can influence decisions professionally
Comfortable working to targets and performing under pressure
Able to reliably commute to our Worsley (M28 2QB) office — this is a fully office-based role, not remote
