Full job description

This job does not meet the skill level requirements for work visa sponsorship and as such we will be unable to progress your application if you do not have the right to work in the UK.

To provide a high-quality reception and administration service, appropriate to that expected in a primary dental care practice across all Community Dental Service (CDS) sites.

Main duties of the job

To act as a first and central point of contact for all enquiries to the site, answering queries and providing accurate information, advice and sign posting to individuals both in person and on the telephone.

To use the electronic patient record system, for booking appointments which includes making bookings for clinics at other CDS locations.

To deal face to face with dental emergencies, patients experiencing dental access difficulties and patients with special needs.

To collect any NHS charges and fees along with banking of money collected and completion of documentation to comply with standing financial instructions.

These range from district nursing, health visiting and running four community hospitals through to providing very specialist community care through talented and dedicated staff.
