Full job description

The Development Operations Officer is a key member of the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO), providing the operational and data management support that underpins the Hall’s fundraising, alumni engagement and stewardship activities.

The role is responsible for managing and maintaining the Development and Alumni Relations System (DARS), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data through effective database administration, imports, exports and reporting. The postholder will also support a range of development projects, identify and research prospective donors, manage stewardship reporting for major donors and assist with gift processing and reporting to support the Regular Giving Manager.

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with excellent database and IT skills, experience of managing sensitive data and a good understanding of GDPR. You will be able to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with a wide range of people and work both independently and collaboratively. Experience of prospect research within the higher education or charity sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
