Overview

£350 per install. Join our dynamic team as a Solar PV Electrician and play a vital role in advancing renewable energy solutions! In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting photovoltaic (PV) solar systems. Your expertise will help power homes, businesses, and communities with clean, sustainable energy. We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive in hands-on environments and are passionate about making a positive impact on the planet. Responsibilities

Install solar PV systems according to technical specifications, safety standards, and best practices
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and connect electrical components of solar installations
Conduct inspections of installed systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
Troubleshoot electrical issues using electrical experience to diagnose faults and implement solutions
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including system layouts and inspection reports
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment at all times

Experience

Proven experience working with electrical systems, ideally within renewable energy or related fields
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for electrical installation tasks
Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in solar installation
Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams with clarity
Prior experience installing or maintaining photovoltaic (solar panel) systems is preferred but not mandatory
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical issues
Valid electrical license or certification is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates
