Roundel Manufacturing Limited is proud to be a premier supplier of bespoke kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and home study furniture to the UK’s top house builders. As a family-owned business with over 50 years of industry expertise, we operate from our manufacturing facility in Washington, delivering exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

From concept to completion, we specialise in the design, manufacture, supply, and installation of both affordable and luxury fitted furniture. Our success is driven by our unwavering commitment to providing a personal, professional service and our ability to swiftly adapt to changing market and customer needs.

Each of our furniture units is meticulously crafted, rigid-built (never flat-packed), and made using only the highest-quality materials to ensure lasting durability and customer satisfaction.

We currently have a vacancy in our production department for a Production Operative.

Role Overview:

This role is based in a fast-paced factory environment and involves working across various stages of production, including assembly lines, sub-assembly, unit fitting, unloading products, wrapping, and heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

Work under the guidance of a Supervisor to complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
Adhere to all relevant procedures and processes in line with the Company’s standards and requirements.
Ensure a "Right First Time" product is delivered to the customer, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, working across different departments and undertaking alternative tasks as required.

Essential Skills:

Experience in manufacturing and warehousing / despatch.
Background in fast-moving production environments.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, annualised hours with three patterns:

Low: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Standard: Monday to Wednesday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm; Thursday, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
High: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm; Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,350 per year
