Full job description

Seeking a part time legal secretary for a long established legal practice in Clydebank.

The work will be related to Conveyancing, Wills , Powers of Attorney and dealing with Estates.

Experience in these areas is definitely preferred.

You must have excellent communication skills, be comfortable dealing with clients at all levels, have a good IT ability along with fast and accurate typing skills.

Day to Day Duties include:

· Responsible for assisting with the secretarial and administrative support of the Solicitors within the team including and not limited to:

Typing and/or producing all dictated correspondence.
Answering telephones
Assisting with mail
Maintaining the filing and computer systems as required
Dealing with telephone enquires as they arise and referring to the appropriate member of staff.
Provide general office duties.
Accurately diarising dates.
General admin duties including scanning and uploading documents
Submitting documents for registration

Preferred hours Monday to Friday 9am -1pm

Job Type: Part time

Ability to commute/relocate:

Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Secretarial: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
